Job descriptionOverviewA leading independent provider of corporate, private client and retirement planning services, with more than 20,000 structures under management require an experienced Deputy Client Accounting Manager to join an established team.Supporting the Client Accounting Manager, the Deputy Client Accounting Manager will be responsible for:

Production of management accounts and financial statements for companies and trusts
Preparation of CT600 & Companies House filings, responsibility for all payments and submissions
IOM tax and VAT returns, ensuring all deadlines adhered to
Liaise with external advisors (e.g. auditors, tax specialists) as necessary
Supervision and coaching of a small team of client accountants
Peer review financial statements and tax computations produced by other senior accountants

The ideal candidate for the role of Deputy Client Accounting Manager will have:

A Professional qualification (ACCA preferred) with at least five years post qualified experience
Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, particularly UK GAAP, and familiarity with offshore trust and corporate structures
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a small accounting team
Extensive experience of client investment portfolios and the relevant accounting and tax treatment
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively
High attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills

Desirable:

Experience working within multiple jurisdictions, ideally including the Isle of Man, Guernsey, the UK, and the BVI
Competence with fiduciary and accounting systems (e.g., Viewpoint, Quantios)
