Job descriptionOverviewOur Client is a leading international Accounting & Consulting firm based in Douglas and are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join their expanding audit team. This role represents an excellent opportunity for career growth and will suit an ambitious motivated person who is willing and interested in getting involved in all aspects of the role.The Audit Manager will be responsible for:
  • Collating, checking and analysing data
  • Examining company accounts and financial control systems
  • Checking that financial reports and records are accurate and reliable
  • Document results on audit file
  • Audit and assurance reviews of various sizes and in numerous sectors, review of audit files
  • Supervision of staff, direct liaison with clients
  • Budget planning
The ideal candidate for the role of Audit Manager will be:
  • Qualified ACA or ACCA or qualified by experience and at least 3 year's audit experience
  • Experienced in staff supervision and mentoring
  • Attention to detail, with excellent interaction and communication skills
  • Excellent communication skills, able to work on their own initiative
  • Able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
  • Have management skills
