The Isle of Man Financial Services Authority (“the Authority”) regulates firms engaged in financial activities, including insurance, pensions, banking, investments, fiduciary services, and fund administration. The Authority is also responsible for oversight of anti-money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism (AML/CFT) compliance for those involved in the financial sector as well as a range of other Designated Businesses and has oversight of compliance with the Beneficial Ownership Act 2017.SENIOR MANAGER - LIFE INSURANCE (PRUDENTIAL SUPERVISION DIVISION)An opportunity has arisen at the Authority for the strategically important role of Senior Manager - Life Insurance in the Prudential Supervision Division. This role offers a stimulating and rewarding position for the right candidate, to lead the supervision of the Island's life insurance sector and foster effective working relationships with the life industry.Extensive relevant life insurance, or similar senior financial services experience in an operational, regulatory, compliance, assurance, risk or audit role, as well as experience in people management and leadership are essential.The successful candidate should hold a professional qualification relevant to the financial services industry and be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of the life insurance sector and associated legislation, regulation and guidance.
