Viva Heights is an Adult Mental Health & Complex Needs service. We are based in Douglas and work with people with complex needs, supporting them in their own recovery. Supporting people in various areas of identified need, including; Mental Health, wellbeing and emotions, Physical health, medication needs, hygiene routine, communication, daily living skills, quality of life and activities, relationships, education and employment, finances and budgets, dependency needs, community safety, legal matters and housing support. Staff must be motivated, sensible, flexible in their ways of working and have empathy for others. We work with people with long term needs, short term placements, specific interventions, emergency placements and respite care. We can offer, contracted 37.5 hours per week, excellent rates of pay, 25 days annual leave plus any bank holidays worked. 6 week rolling rota (issued 2 months in advance). If successful, the candidate will need to have a DBS check completed by Viva Heights and two satisfactory references prior to starting work. A full induction will be given and a period of shadowing will be offered as part of a 6 month probation period. The day support worker shifts are typically: Late sleep early = 12:00 - 22:00 - sleep at service then 08:00 - 14:00. Early day = 08:00 - 16:00. Late day = 12:00 - 20:00. Day shift = 10:00 - 18:00. Evening shift = 14:00 - 22:00.
