## Accountant - Business Doctor Limited (Isle of Man) Business Doctor Limited is seeking a meticulous and experienced **Accountant** to join our team in the Isle of Man. In this role, you will play a key part in managing the financial operations for a diverse portfolio of businesses spanning the **Isle of Man, South Africa, and Europe**. This is a fantastic opportunity for a chartered professional with international experience looking to apply their expertise in a dynamic, multi-jurisdictional environment. ### The Role As our Accountant, you will take ownership of financial reporting and compliance across our various international entities. Your ability to navigate complex tax environments-specifically within the South African market-is critical to our continued success. This role includes the requirement for occasional international travel to support our operations in South Africa and Europe. ### Key Responsibilities * Maintain accurate financial records and prepare management accounts for companies in the Isle of Man, South Africa, and Europe. * **Ensure full compliance with South African accounting practices and SARS regulations**, including tax filings and reporting. * Coordinate with local authorities and partners in all operating jurisdictions. * Provide insightful financial analysis to support business decision-making. * Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, payroll, and statutory requirements for assigned entities. * **International Travel:** Willingness and ability to travel internationally to our overseas office locations as required by business needs. ### Requirements * **Chartered Accountant qualification** (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CA(SA), or equivalent). * **Experience:** Minimum of 3+ years of post-qualification experience. * **Essential:** In-depth knowledge of South African accounting standards and practical experience dealing with SARS. * Strong understanding of cross-border financial reporting and multi-currency accounting. * Ability to work independently and manage competing deadlines across different time zones. * Excellent attention to detail and high proficiency in accounting software. ### Package & Benefits * **Salary:** £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience. * **Contract:** Full-time, 40 hours per week. * **Leave:** 20 days of paid annual holiday. * **Location:** Based in the Isle of Man, with international travel required. ### How to Apply If you are a detail-oriented, chartered accountant with the required international expertise and a willingness to travel, we would love to hear from you.
