Manx Care are recruiting an Air Ambulance Transfer Practitioner to support patient transfers to and from the UK by air, sea, road and scheduled flights. Youll deliver highquality clinical care in transit - whether in a fixedwing aircraft, helicopter, boat or ambulance - adapting to noise, vibration, limited communication and rapidly changing situations. Every journey is different, and your skills will ensure patients receive safe, compassionate care throughout.Main duties of the jobYoull also support senior leadership in operational planning, service development and representing the Air Ambulance Service across the island and beyond. The role requires excellent communication, empathy and resilience. Youll share complex and sensitive information with patients and families, manage emotionally challenging situations, advocate for patients, and work closely with colleagues and external agencies. Youll also take part in MDTs, debriefs and ongoing education.   • Registered with current NMC/HCPC registration or relevant professional qualification i.e. Nurse/. Paramedic or ODP.
  • Relevant Experience in Transfer Retrieval or nationally recognised course.
  • Intermediate Life Support and/or willing to work towards Advanced Life Support.
