Our client is seeking a skilled Client Accountant to manage a diverse portfolio of bookkeeping and accounting responsibilities. This role involves clearing a backlog of outstanding bookkeeping tasks, ensuring timely production of accounts and tax returns, and maintaining compliance with relevant deadlines. The successful candidate will prepare VAT and Tax returns while managing bank accounts where applicable. Additionally, this role includes assisting in setting up audit files and liaising with both clients and the Client Services Team to keep records updated. Furthermore, the Client Accountant will ensure that all financial statements are produced within statutory periods, support effective control over work in progress (WIP), billing, and debt management, and uphold a high level of technical support to the team.
