Our client looks for a Finance Assistant to join their team. Key Responsibilities: Process payments (electronic payments, telegraphic transfer). Monthly bank reconciliations. Monitor bank accounts and update cashbook spreadsheets. Monitor inward bank statements and reconcile against cashbook spreadsheets. Produce weekly cash balance reports in line with client requirements. Process aand allocate receipts (cheques, cash and telegraphic transfers). Posting entries into SUN. Process purchase and sales invoices. Maintain the archiving spreadsheets and ensure archiving is up to date. Maintain the scanning and filing of all transactions. Daily deliveries/collection of documents. Assist other members of the finance team as required. General office administration duties. Key Skills and Experience: Experience of banking systems (essential). Barclays. Lloyds. RBSI. HSBC. Numerate and show attention to detail and accuracy. Well organised and have the ability to prioritise tasks. Able to work well under pressure and achieve targets set. Self-motivated and enthusiastic about working in a busy team. Good communication skills as the role involves contact with other departments, external directors and banks. Some knowledge of book-keeping. Experience of SUN general ledger system (desirable but not essential). Experience of Excel and Word.
