Key Responsibilities / What You Will Do
  • Actively participate in the Histology Team, delivering specialist laboratory expertise.
  • Perform complex technical histology procedures with precision and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with biomedical scientists, pathologists, and clinical teams to optimise patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Troubleshoot laboratory equipment issues and contribute to continuous service improvement.
Requirements / Candidate CriteriaEssential
  • HCPC registration.
  • Minimum 2 years of histology experience.
  • Strong skills in technical histological procedures and laboratory practice.
  • Excellent documentation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Desirable
  • Full driving licence (useful for exploring the island).
  • Experience working in specialist or high-volume histology environments.
