In this role, you will provide advice and support to families through community-based activities and parenting education at our farm. This role is full time for 35 hours per week. The primary focus of this post is working with families where parents/carers may be facing challenges. You will need to feel confident working with a wide range of personalities and supporting parents in emotionally challenging situations. As a parenting support and parent course delivery practitioner you will additionally be confident in facilitating group training. You will need to have extensive experience in education, social work, health, youth, play or early years work, or a related field. You will bring personal resilience, enthusiasm and the ability to positively engage and influence a diverse range of people, alongside the confidence to manage difficult situations. A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential. Flexibility is important, as you may be required to work occasional evening and weekends for delivery of programmes.
