- Conduct comprehensive forensic examinations for individuals affected by sexual assault or violence.
- Collect, document, and manage forensic evidence in accordance with clinical and legal standards.
- Provide trauma-informed care and emotional support throughout the examination process.
- Undertake detailed clinical assessments, including injury documentation.
- Work collaboratively with police, safeguarding agencies, and other partners to support investigations.
- Maintain meticulous forensic and clinical records to evidential specifications.
- Ensure adherence to forensic protocols, safeguarding procedures, and clinical governance frameworks.
- Make appropriate referrals for ongoing psychological, safeguarding, or medical support.
- Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration.
- Experience in forensic healthcare, sexual assault services, or safeguarding settings.
- Competence in forensic examinations and evidence handling.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding frameworks and trauma-informed practice.
- Excellent clinical assessment and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively across multi-agency environments.
- Experience within a SARC or forensic medical service.
- Forensic examination training or relevant postgraduate qualification.
- Experience supporting vulnerable adults or young people.
