Job descriptionOverviewOur long-established Douglas-based Corporate Service Provider, part of a diverse group of companies, is seeking an experienced Compliance Officer to join their established, friendly team.The Compliance Officer will:

Provide support with administration of the compliance workload of the Compliance team, alongside other Compliance Officers
Keep up to date on relevant regulations and guidelines impacting the business
Provide practical guidance on the interpretation of laws and regulations
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with the team, clients, and regulator
Perform risk assessments, periodic file reviews and evaluate proposed new business at onboarding
Monitor compliance, review, maintain, and enhance policies & procedures
Provide regular staff briefings on updates or changes to compliance policy and regulations

The ideal candidate for the role of Compliance Officer will have:

A minimum 2 years' AML and compliance related experience within a regulated environment
Strong interpersonal skills, articulate and confident
Able to influence a culture of compliance understanding and adherence
Demonstrable organisational skills
Attention to detail

Desirable

Ideally, you will hold a professional qualification with ICA or the Governance Institute
